Archie von Apfel is a wonderful, mellow 7 year old German Shepherd. This
handsome boy with the soft eyes has the most loveable temperament and
spirit. He really enjoys his walks and can even get a little ahead of
himself in the excitement of going out and exploring. However, he is very
responsive to leash corrections and always keeps an eye out to make sure you
are never too far away. Although he can keep waking and at a good pace too,
he also knows when its time to settle down. He lays down beside you and can
sit next to you for hours enjoying a quiet spot and shoulder scratches.
Archie's calm and upbeat nature lets him get along with a variety of dog
personality types although, if it were up to him, he'd surround himself with
ladies who have the the same friendly but easy-going spirit. Archie is
possibly housebroken and is eager to head into a home of his own, but what
he's really looking for is a place that believes in enjoying long Sunday
morning walks and sharing along Sunday afternoon naps.
